Cremation

Respect and Dignity

Your pet will always be handled with respect and dignity. We have an open door policy and you may be present during the entire cremation process. We also have a large selection of urns and tins to choose from or we can order any special items that you may need. Paw imprint keepsakes are also available upon request.

We offer two options for the cremation of your pet.

Private Cremation

During private cremation only one pet will be inside the crematorium throughout the entire cremation cycle. No other pets are placed in the crematorium until all cremated remains from the previous cremation have been removed. After the process is complete, the remains are placed in a decorative urn or tin of your choice.  Remains can be taken home the same day.  Accompanying your pet’s remains will be a certificate of individual cremation, a pamphlet to help you cope with the loss of your pet, a rainbow bridge bookmark, and peace of mind knowing that your pet was handled with the utmost respect.

For small and exotics pets, 3 lbs and under, please call for pricing. Private Cremation for pets 3-20 lbs starts at $175.00.

Communal Cremation

Communal Cremation is another option.  This is where more than one pet is cremated at the same time and, in accordance with the Will County Land Use Department, their cremains are scattered in our Pet Cemetery for memorization. Our Authorization form guarantees that no more than a maximum of 20 pets will be in the crematorium during the cremation. Our average communal cremations will more likely have 10 to 12 pets. Because there will be more than one pet inside the crematorium, there will be some commingling of cremated remains. The communal, cremated remains are swept clean from the crematorium and then scattered in our cemetery.  Additionally, you may order a memorial plate for your pet, which is placed on a large granite marker in the cemetery.

Communal cremation for pets under 20lbs starts at $30.00
